“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it” Psalm 127:1
Linda and I just finished ministering at the “Weekend to Remember” getaway in Austin, TX which wraps up our spring season.
There were 656 in attendance and 10 people indicated they received Christ!
The Lord blessed Linda with three great couples to help in the Resource Center.
We want to share this story with you that one of her couples wrote. May it bless your heart as it did ours!
“I myself came from a strong Christian family. I rejected it though, I did drugs, lots of violence. I stole, tore my life apart, got involved with a woman who was apart of a criminal organization. Almost married her. God rescued me not without scars, lost everyone. However God led me to Madison through an app called POF. She shook my world, first time I saw her I knew she was one I wanted for keeps. So instead of my normal plan I decided I wanted to do everything right, refused or resisted sexual temptation, focused on her, found out she was an atheist. Got scared. God I feel like she is the one you want me to have. But she does not know you. God said so show her who I am. So I did, took her to church, talked to her then on October 2015. I broke down in tears sharing my testimony with her. She responded by accepting Christ, after that I proposed, we married. We have spent every moment pre marriage, post marriage seeking council on how to do it right. We came here doing great. However I feel like we are still closer, tighter and more importantly I feel like we trust each other so much more since this weekend. Can’t wait to come back. Wish I could expand more, so much more to our story just not enough room to write. Thank you.”
We would ask you to pray for our granddaughter Allissa. When you receive this letter she will be in Honduras for a missions trip doing V.B.S. and some light construction work. Pray they are able to minister to the people and that their lives would also be changed for His glory!!!

Every two years Cru brings together all the US staff to focus on our overall mission to “help build spiritual movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.” The conference is held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.
CSU is so powerful in that we are reminded of the “Big Picture” of what God is doing in the US and around the world. For Linda and I it gives us renewed vision and boldness to share our faith.
This conference has been a key part in keeping us refreshed and focused as we fight for marriages and families. We are excited to see what God will show us during this time of training and connection with over 5000 other
Back in September I mentioned a contest that the ministry was holding to increase attendance at our events and to help the winners with their expenses for CSU. Right now Linda and I are the front runners in the contest. Praise the Lord. Winning this contest would help us pay for most of CSU.
In my year end letter (November) I shared that Linda and I needed to raise $750 in monthly support. Since January we have lost over $200 in monthly support. We are thankful for the year end giving we received as that has carried us this far into the new year. We know that God will continue to provide, but right now we need your help!
We know many of you are already on limited budgets and your giving is a big sacrifice. Others of you have just joined our team so we understand if you are unable to give at this time. Any portion you can help with would be a blessing. We ask that you prayerfully consider if this is where God would have you invest with our ministry at this time. Be sure to make your check payable to: Cru and mail to our home address (in side bar) or give online: https://give.cru.org/0360443.
Serving together for His glory!
