October 2018 Newsletter
“I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.”
Our fall season is underway with just three events so far. Here are a couple of encouraging comments for you to enjoy...
“I’ve never seen a “healthy marriage” or a “Godly Husband” in my 43 years of life. I want to be a Godly husband for my wife! I needed these lessons. My marriage of 10 years needed this emergency relief.”
“We have decided to remarry after being divorced for 6 months and married for 12 years.”
October 26th through November 18th comes on strong with 27 events. There are also 6 events after Thanksgiving. The season is later this fall!
These are the events we will be doing...
Estes Park (Nov. 2-4)
Estes Park (Nov. 9-11)
St Louis (Dec. 7-9)
Changed lives through the gospel
We have another prayer request. On September 23rd a good friend of ours (Dennis) fell off a step ladder while trying to fix an electrical socket on the ceiling in his garage and broke 6 ribs!!
Because of the severe pain he was given high doses of pain medicine. While at home he fell again. This time he punctured a lung. They did surgery to repair the lung. Three days later he had another surgery to put plates on his ribs to help with healing and also repaired a leak in the lung again. Since the first surgery he has been sedated for eight days. Now, they have taken him off this medicine and he is slowly coming out of it.
He has been moved to a long term rehab center for trauma patience.
Please pray for
Healing and full recovery for Dennis. He is 75 years old.
For his wife, Carolyn, as she waits on the Lord.
The doctors and nurses to see Christ in her and the friends who come to visit.
God to be glorified in the midst of this trial!
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4
Thank you again for standing in the battle with us for the family!
